Why mill test certificates matter

An MTC is more than paperwork — it's your traceable proof of grade, chemistry and mechanical properties. Here's what to look for.

Why mill test certificates matter

A mill test certificate (MTC) documents the chemical composition and mechanical properties of a batch of steel, traceable back to the mill heat. It's your assurance that the material matches the grade you ordered.

What an MTC tells you

Chemistry, yield and tensile strength, elongation, and the standard the material was produced to — typically issued as an EN 10204 3.1 certificate for traceable supply.

Our commitment

HS International supplies material with mill test certificates on request and inspects dimensions, grade and surface on intake before stock is released — so what you order is what you receive.
